New service launched for those seeking buy-to-let properties

Consumers looking to purchase buy-to-let properties are to have
access to a new service.
Launched by the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), the offering will enable people
to enter their details and needs on to a website and be matched
with the best mortgage options for them.
The bespoke website was announced at the 2010 ARLA
Conference.
Ian Potter, operations manager at the organisation - which was
founded in 1981 and is a professional and regulatory body for
letting agents in the UK - said there has been considerable
interest in the service.
He added: "As with any borrowing it is essential that full
information is available to a borrower in order that they can make
an informed decision in connection to the potential of their
purchase."
Mr Potter went on to state that the site should assist both
landlords and tenants, as it will result in better choice in the
market place.
